Third Class has arrived! Race to Third Class!

The Wizard

The Wizard is the next evolution of the Mage. They use awesome Magic to destroy enemies from far away. With the power of Fire he is given the Volcano, an AOE short range burts of fire, the Fire Ball that can stun monsters, and Magic Flame that drops from the heavens on an unsuspecting target. With the power of Ice, the Ice Ball can be cast from a distance and can slow his enemies attacks.

The Warrior

The tank, the protector, the mighty Warrior. Charge into the middle of armies and Fire Swing with a AOE burst of flame. Slash through monsters with a deadly Force Cut. Sacrifice yourself to save those you have sworn to protect with Power Reinforce which increases your damage at the cost of your life. The Warrior is the ultimate soldier and defender of the continent of Xen.

The Assassin

Hide in shadows, and step lightly. This silent killer is lurking so be on the watch. He now comes equipped with deadly blade skills and claws that surprise any enemy or foe. The Dust Blade and the Breeze Dagger cut with force and precision. Evade attacks with Light Masque. For those that run from the Assassin, beware his Starlight Shot. Keep your eyes open, and alert your senses for the Assassin has come to defeat you all.

The Priest

Be blessed with the Holy Power of Light, and be saved by its follower, the Priest. The Priest will support any party and not only keep you alieve but make you stronger on your missions. Fury against enemies with increased int, critical hit, and movement. Noble is his shield that protects from damage. Use the power of light to vanquish evil. Essential is the Priest, and the light of Jureah will protect those in need.

The time has come for the Soldiers of Xen to move on to the next chapter of the story. Protect the land from the evil that wishes to rule it. This is only the beginning ...

This just in. The evil princess Mariane has just led an attack on Essense with an evil horde of monsters. She first attacked Eir with desert creatures that resembled camels of some sort. As the warriors of Xen rushed to Eir's aid, she led an even bigger attack on Essene with Houdick's and Cursed Storms. The decoy was not enough to fool our soldiers. Fighters charged into Essene with Mages and Priest's close behind. Archer's lured the creatures away from unsuspecting recruits and Templars sprang into action defending the other xenians. It was a glorious battle full of wonder and excitement. With the death of the last Cursed Storm, the day was saved!

Adeline server has been blessed by the goddess Jureah. She has granted the continent a 40% boost in experience gained from killing monsters. Congratualtions to all of Xen! Job well done.

- Firewood Droprate has been increased by 25% 

Players can now use the Character Inspection function. Simply right-click on any player and select "Inspect". You can then see that players current level, and the items he or she is wearing. This was an add-on requested by you the players.

If you do not want your items checked out, there is an option in the Game Options menu under the Social tab. You can deny players from inspecting your character.

Patch Notes

After weeks of research and feedback from the community through survey's, the forums, and talking to players in game, we have decided to make some initial game balance changes to Secret of the Solstice. After speaking with Jureah, we have greatly decreased the amount of experience required to move from one level to the next, and we have also increased the amount of experience given from defeating monsters in the continent of Xen. This along with other changes will truly make Secret of the Solstice the best game Outspark has to offer.

Game Balance Changes:

 

- The Solstice Trainer and Solstice Guide have been promoted for their hard work of guiding the young new recruits of Xen. They have been given desks and have relocated to a new area in Arcarinas Square.

- Reinmoth and Reilath have leveled up to Official Class Change Priestess of Jureah.

- The Leveling Guide which pops up everytime you level has been adjusted to inform players of all that is possible for his or her level.

- Drekard has given the new recruits an easier way to change from Xenian to their desired class.

- Jureah has blessed the land of Xen giving players more experience for defeating monsters.

- Adeline has improved the training process to make it easier for soldiers to move from one level to the next.

It began with a curse on the land where Alastor's dark magicians cast an enchantment to lower all EXP to 50%. He then spawned bears, evil fairies and unleashed tornadoes in the Aerial forest. As adventurer's came to wipe out the attack on the new recruits, Alastor warped right in to Brynhilld for a sneak attack on Tramis Mansion. Murdock came to the rescue and lured the tornados and oozes away as the Hero's recovered from the diversion and made their way to save Brynhilld. The battle raged until the army was defeated and the curse was lifted from the world.

To celebrate the victory, Jureah blessed the land with 5% more EXP for a total of 30% till tomorrow. Thank you Jureah, and thank you to the brave and courageous warriors of Xen.

I like playing ranged characters.. been playing the archer class character in most MMOs.

Aratos the Psychic has set up shop in Essene. She will tell all brave recruits their fortunes if they give her Prophecy Fragments. Each time you collect all the Prophecy Fragments she needs, she will read your future.

Secret of the Solstice has 10 awesome in-game pets for players to use and collect. These pets begin as a "mysterious egg" that you have to take care of. You have to feed the egg, take it out for walks, bring it medicine when its sick, and teach things to it. The pet needs a healthy place to stay, and things to keep it entertained. It takes a lot of time and patience, but in the end you'll have a Solstice Pet!

Solstice pets can be combined with each other to give players special power-ups. These power-ups are different depending on the pets that you combine. With a succesful fusion, you can get +HP, +MP, increased attack rate, and much much more!

Get ready for the Solstice Pets! Just another reason to play Secret of the Solstice.

 

Yesterday, Jan. 24, 2008, the Game Masters and the warriors of Xen threw a surprise birthday party for General Drekard in the city of Jotunnheim. Many players dressed in awesome costumes came to celebrate and mingle with the community. GM rider, Break, Murdock, and Cretz came to party with the players and give out little gifts to all who came. As General Drekard came into the city, all the players gathered by the gates to greet him. Surprised and teary eyed, Drekard thanked everyone for remembering his birthday.

But the calm did not last forever, as the evil tyrant Alastor crashed the party by sending a huge army of monsters into the city! Drekard and all the players fought long and hard to push Alastor's forces out of Jotunnheim. The battle was epic! As our brave warriors fought hard to keep the evil monsters at bay, Alastor appeared out of nowhere, killing players with his Death Word. But the warriors of Xen ultimately repelled the invasion; Alastor was forced to retreat… but not before revealing that Drekard was, in fact, his younger brother.

The Crazy Old Man of Arcarinas Square appears to speak occasionally and has said he lost his pet magic monkey. Most people would think twice about believing a crazy old man, but others have said that what he says may be true.

How to win

1. Find the magic monkey
2. Stay close to it and say the words: Monkey! I found you!
3. The magic monkey will teleport to you and give you a prize if you are wearing a specified item.
